Joining Relay means you become part of the community fighting cancer together.

Whatever your role, it is important.

Over the years, the Relay community has grown to include teams, individuals, sponsors, supporters, volunteers, designers, donors - you name it - and from all walks of life.

Relay is both a campaign and an event, and in 'relaying' overnight at the Taman Perbandaran (Youth Park) we help remember that we are part of the on-going fight against cancer and that we journey with cancer survivors through their battle against cancer.

Relay for Life Penang is part of the global family of Relayers - some 20 countries have Relays. Penang pioneered Relay in Malaysia and now we also have Relays in KL and Malacca. Let's take the message and spirit of Relay to every corner of Malaysia!

Relay celebrates survivorship and we have a wonderful Survivorship Committee. Two of our members have been designated International Heroes of Hope by the International Relay Committee - a huge honour and testament to their inspiration and hard work. They are Madam Mui Siew Koon, and Sukhveer Kaur, both of whom are fantastic people and you can meet them at Relay!
